SFO Technologies offers Independent Verification and Validation services for software developed under the critical process standards, such as DO-178B/C. The years of experience in dealing with all aspects of safety critical software lifecycle enables SFO to be the reliable third set of eyes who can independently ascertain that the software complies with all the design specifications and system requirements.

Verification is the task of analyzing the outputs of a design process to ensure that the process followed all the process requirements and standards, and the results satisfy the product requirements. Validation is the task of examining the output of the product and establishing by means of systematic testing that all the product requirements are met. Both these processes are critical, and are most effective when executed together by an experienced third party source with the appropriate experience.
